Amanda offers a therapeutic massage experience like no other. A strong advocate of the benefits of somatic therapy which integrates the mental, emotional and physical aspects through massage therapy, Amanda Caldwell has been interested in holistic health for more than 25 years.
Amanda is a graduate of Roane State Community College Somatic Therapy program. A massage therapist for more than seven years, she has served as adjunct faculty member for the Roane State Massage Therapy program. Amanda is also continuing her studies with the American Institute of Vedic Studies, completing an Ayurvedic healing course for health care professionals. She is also a practitioner of reiki, a Japanese form of healing that's gaining a following worldwide.
Amanda served 2 terms as the 3rd Vice President for the American Massage Therapy Association Tennessee Chapter and has been a past delegate for the National Associations House of Delegates. Amanda also chaired the MERT, Massage Emergency Response Team for the State of Tennessee.
Amanda is a native Oak Ridger and graduated from Oak Ridge High School. She holds a degree in Business Management from Belmont University in Nashville and has lived and worked in Nashville and Knoxville before returning recently to Oak Ridge. She is a 2008 Leadership Oak Ridge graduate.
