Medical Massage and Deep Tissue
Medical Massage and Deep Tissue Massage can be prescribed by a physician
(though not necessary), and involves an initial consultation in which the ROOT
CAUSE of the pain/disorder is discovered and rectified in a minimal
number of visits (usually between 4 and 10 visits, depending on the
severity of the disorder). Medical/Deep Tissue massage is beneficial for conditions like low back and neck pain, Sciatica or Carpal
Tunnel. Medical Massage can also help prepare a client for joint replacement surgery. In working in conjunction with physical therapy clients who have regular massage therapy tend to heal quicker achieve more range of motion.

Intuitive
Massage:
Intuitive
massage incorporates different therapeutic modalities tailored
to the client’s needs that day. Reiki, universal life force healing
energy is used during each session. Deep
Tissue may be used in certain spots to eliminate knots, and locked up
areas while
Swedish may be used in the areas that just need caring attention. Thai
massage might be used for Muscle compression, joint mobilization, and
acupressure could also be used during a treatment to help release a
trigger point. Indian Head Massage with Picchu puts one into a truly
relaxed state of
being. The use of warm Ayurvedic oils help to penetrate the skin
leaving one with a deep feeling of stability and warmth. Each session
is unique and truly a therapeutic experience like no other
incorporating whichever modality is needed.

Agreement: If the massage
therapist starts a session late, she will make up the time at the end of
your session if possible, or will reduce your fee accordingly.
Understand that if you arrive late, your session will end at the
originally scheduled time so the client following you is not penalized.
You agree to give 24 hour notice for a scheduled session that you can
not keep. Be aware that you may be charged the full fee for any missed
sessions or for sessions that you do not give 24 hour notice to cancel
or reschedule.
